EDU talks Ri-Generazione at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo

EDU talks is back: the closing event of the national EDU programme, carried out in agreement with the CNIU – Italian National Commission for UNESCO and under a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Education.

The event will take place on Tuesday 6 February at 4:00 pm at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo

During the past school year, students explored the theme of the ecological and cultural transition, in the light of the Ministerial Plan RiGenerazione scuola (2022) and of the New European Bauhaus, the environmental, social and cultural transformation project launched by the European Commission in 2021.

Guests and students will take turns on stage to present the results of the workshops from the past school year and to discuss the themes of sustainability and regeneration. Taking part in the event will be AIGU President Gianluca Buoncore, the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Bergamo Nadia Ghisberti, the Director of the Accademia Carrara Martina Bagnoli, Prof. Domenico Simeone, Director of the UNESCO Chair “Education for Human Development and Solidarity among Peoples” at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Claudio Cecchinelli, Head of the Culture and UNESCO Service of the Municipality of Bergamo, Luca Andreini, Business Partner at Guarda Studio, Aarya Chavda, heritage and environmental activist, and many more.

We will also present the three-year project EDU FOR FUTURE, the theme of the EDU workshops for the next three years, which will place the theme of heritage at the centre of reflection.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Accademia Carrara, under the patronage of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, the Municipality of Bergamo and the National Youth Council.
