Heritage&Youth is AIGU’s program dedicated to the relationship between young people and heritage. Starting with the international event World Heritage Youth, held in Florence on September 9, 2023, AIGU initiated an international dialogue process to build a network that connects the experiences of youth and youth organizations active in World Heritage (WH) and Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), operating proactively through regular meetings.
Through the Youth Charter, the document resulting from WHY, AIGU will be at the forefront of defining and promoting innovative proposals for the safeguarding and enhancement of heritage, in constant dialogue with young Italian and international professionals, as well as national and international institutions.
