On the occasion of Africa Week, 18 – 22 July 2020, UNESCO is calling on young people to take part in the discussion on the growth and development of the African continent.
It is doing so by encouraging them to become more involved in research, development, innovation, enterprise and partnerships to address water security issues in Africa – in line with goals 5 and 6 of the 2030 Agenda – through the publication of your contributions.
UNESCO will select a number of articles focused on “water security and water resource management and the related engagement of young people in Africa” for publication in international sector journals.
