During the General Assembly of Members on Saturday, May 23, 2026, AIGU renewed its governing bodies, electing the new Board of Directors that will lead the Association over the upcoming term, supported by the National Coordination Team and the Supervisory Board.
Eleonora Vita was elected President of AIGU. Joining the new Board of Directors are Camilla Donà dalle Rose as Secretary General, Lucilla Crespi and Giulio del Giudice as Vice Presidents, while Silvio Rossini was reconfirmed as Treasurer.
The Assembly also appointed the new National Coordination Team, which will continue to develop AIGU’s core organizational activities and projects: Ludowika Tripodi was reconfirmed to lead Edu Coordination, Giulia Barrese took over Fundraising Coordination, Gemma Gresele GEA Coordination, and Paola Laviola Communications Coordination.
The Supervisory Board was also renewed: alongside the reconfirmation of Erika Mazzuccato, Francesco Di Stefano and Carlo Emilio Tortarolo were elected.
The new members take the baton from the outgoing Board of Directors with the goal of continuing to strengthen AIGU’s role as a platform for dialogue, participation, and growth for younger generations, in line with UNESCO themes and values.
We extend our best wishes to the newly elected members for the term ahead. Heartfelt thanks go to the outgoing members for the commitment, dedication, and energy with which they contributed to the growth of the Association in recent years.
