Within the framework of the UNESCO Youth for Peace programme, AIGU is the Italian partner of the project The Bridge We Build. A UAE–Italy Youth Dialogue Initiative for Intercultural Understanding and Social Cohesion, coordinated by Paolo Petrocelli, cultural manager, founder and Honorary President of AIGU.
The initiative is a project of intercultural dialogue, international cooperation and training, which aims to strengthen international relations between young Italians and young people from the United Arab Emirates in the spirit and values of the UNESCO mandate.
The call is open to AIGU members duly registered for the 2026 membership year.
We are looking for people inclined towards teamwork, interested in developing intercultural dialogue and international cooperation in the fields of education, culture and training.
The selected participants will have the opportunity to follow a training and project-design programme involving both online and in-person activities, together with young people from the United Arab Emirates, selected through a call for members among civil society.
