Maddalena Pierini

Umrbia

With a Master’s degree in Languages and Cultures for International Communication, Maddalena Pierini works as a Project Manager in EU project management. For several years, she has been involved in initiatives with a significant social and environmental impact, applying an intersectional perspective to climate justice, human rights and international cooperation. Her career holds years of experience in sustainability and youth policy: she has worked with Legambiente in the Environmental Civil Service, leading educational activities on the ecological transition; with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Portugal, managing Erasmus+ placements; and with the ASES association, promoting the inclusion of foreign and migrant students in the Tuscia region. A natural extension of this commitment to human rights, ecology and intersectionality was her role as a Project Member for AEGEE-Europe on the ‘Europe on Track 11’ initiative, where she coordinated international logistics and the drafting of policy papers focused on inclusion and youth activism.
