Born in 1992 in Reggio Calabria, she graduated with honours in Pedagogical Sciences from the University of Messina and specialised in educational support for pupils with disabilities. She took up a permanent post in 2021 with the Ministry of Education (now MIM) at the “Quintino Sella” Institute in Turin and is currently serving at the “Righi-Boccioni/Fermi” Technical and Vocational Hub in Reggio Calabria. A graduate in flute from the “F. Cilea” Conservatory, she has developed a cross-disciplinary path spanning education, music and school guidance, gaining significant experience also as a tutor in mentoring and guidance programmes within the FUTURA – PNRR programme. Over time she has taken part in numerous seminars and training courses on inclusion, teaching innovation and guidance, participating in national events such as Fiera Didacta Italia -INDIRE. In 2025 she obtained in Florence a second-level Master’s degree in “Governance of School Autonomy” at IUL University in collaboration with INDIRE. She joined the AIGU Calabria family in 2023 and in 2025 was elected National Coordinator of the EDU sector. She believes deeply in education as a tool for equity and personal growth, and in the value of music as a universal language capable of uniting, educating and including. She firmly maintains that “education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” (Nelson Mandela). Her motto is: “I care”, the cornerstone of the teaching of Don Lorenzo Milani.
