Ilaria Petrelli

Ilaria Petrelli (1999) was born and raised in Puglia. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in 2022, she specialised in Communication Design for Publishing, Illustration and Comics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Throughout her academic career she experimented with various fields of graphic design, including branding, visual identity, editorial design, illustration and lettering. During her final year of study she focused her research on Design for Children, with particular attention to the themes of neurodiversity and disability. She joined AIGU – the Italian Youth Association for UNESCO – in 2023, driven by the desire to help spread UNESCO’s values through design and creativity. Since 2025 she has been the Regional Representative of the Puglia Group.
