Giulio Del Giudice is a PhD at IULM University with a project on Sustainable Tourism in UNESCO Creative Cities in collaboration with Como UNESCO Creative city.
He holds a double degree Master in Hospitality & Tourism Management at IULM University (International University of Languages and Media), a tripartite degree in Tourism from Fondazione Campus (University of Pisa, Pavia and Università della Svizzera italiana) and a Master in Global marketing, Communication and Made in Italy from Centro Studi Comunicare l’Impresa and Italy-USA Foundation. He is a member of the National Level of two student associations: ESN Italy where he serves as Liaison Officer with delegation to the National Youth Council where he is part of the Culture and Legality Commission and the Italian Youth Agency and ESN Switzerland where he is Liaison officer for Institutional domain and part of the International Commission of the Swiss National Youth Council.
In ESN International he is part of the Team Youth of the International Commission for Education (ICE) and follows youth policy, the European Youth Forum and National Youth Councils. He is also a facilitator of Eduk8, ESN International’s Pool of Trainers and ESN Italy’s Pool of Trainers. His passion for UNESCO was born during his internship at the UNESCO Club of Lucca with director Annateresa Rondinella and follows in the UNESCO Chair on Information and Communication Technologies for the promotion and development of sustainable tourism in World Heritage sites at the University of Italian Switzerland. He moves to Lugano in September 2020 for the master thesis on the project INTERREG MARKS following the contacts built during a Chair’s Summer School in 2019. He worked as a Scientific Collaborator for about 3 years following MARKS project until its conclusion and then focuses on the PhD.
In AIGU after serving as Treasurer since the entrance in July 2019, he was elected Regional Representative in October 2020 and appointed Coordinator of the Northern Area in April 2022 and reappointed in the Turin Forum 2023. In 2023, he will be the delegate of the Italian UNESCO National Commission to the UNESCO Youth Forum and joined the UNESCO Global Youth Community.
