EDU TALKS, the closing event of EDU on 23 October

AIGU presents EDU talks, the closing event of EDU 2020/21, which took place on 23 October 2021 from 10 am in Florence and was streamed on the Association’s social media channels.

The EDU National Programme promoted by AIGU is aimed at schools and universities throughout Italy to promote and reflect on the operational programmes developed by UNESCO.

The EDU 2020/2021 edition, which received the support of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Bank of Italy, saw the delivery of 20 regional workshops centred on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (UN, 2015). The aim is to increase young people’s knowledge of UNESCO values and of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in order to create a new form of active citizenship, aware of its own potential.

The event is aimed at the new generations sensitive to sustainability issues, at institutional audiences, at the social organisations orbiting the world of schools, and at anyone interested in discovering the potential contribution of young people to a sustainable future.

Many guests, workshops and talks have been planned for this event.
