This year too, AIGU will play a leading role at the Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism, now in its 24th edition, which will take place in Paestum at the Tabacchificio Cafasso, the archaeological area and the National Museum, and the Basilica, from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 October.
The AIGU Campania proposal focuses its attention on humankind and its ecosystem, with the aim of reconnecting people intimately with the nature of the places they inhabit and promoting a deeper awareness of their origins and history.
The ECO Project is part of a wider discourse and sits within a strategic vision pursued across the whole country, which led to the themes of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage being addressed at the last Italian Youth Forum in Cagliari in 2022, and which will continue to explore the theme of Living Heritage at the next Italian Youth Forum in Turin in 2023, dedicated to UNESCO Creative Cities.
The event will take place in Paestum in the Sala Nettuno of the Tabacchificio Cafasso.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 30 October!
