On Monday 3 October, the AIGU Board gathered at Palazzo Altemps, home of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, to meet President Franco Bernabè and Secretary Enrico Vicenti.
On this occasion, the activities promoted by the Association and its future projects were presented, and topics such as sustainability, heritage education and possible future thematic focuses of AIGU’s activities were discussed.
The Association was recognised as an organisation capable of developing skills among the new generations: not only a laboratory of ideas, but also of competences, underlining the need for synergy with other bodies, universities and institutions.
The commitment and passion of young people who place cultural heritage, education and science at the centre ensure that the Association continues to grow, and it is therefore important to build new territorial networks, to be projected at national and international level.
