During the third Italian Youth Forum (IYF), the Next Generation You Manifesto was officially presented. In May 2021 the document was finalised and enriched thanks to the ideas that emerged from the Forum.
The Next Generation You Manifesto is a document containing 23+12 proposals devised by young people for young people, concrete and easy to implement, including: compulsory food education, teaching for active citizenship, workshops for theoretical subjects and philosophy in technical institutes, digital maturity, a psychologist available to students, parents and teachers, sustainable products in school canteens, the introduction of sustainable materials and urban reconnection.
The proposals, concrete ideas to be included in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), attracted the attention of the Government during the discussion with the Minister of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility Enrico Giovannini and the Minister for Youth Policies Fabiana Dadone.
The dialogue with the institutions continues: on 21 April AIGU also met the Undersecretary of State for Education Barbara Floridia precisely to explore the Next Generation You Manifesto in greater depth.
