She is currently a PhD candidate in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, where her research explores the intersections between criminal organisations and cultural heritage, examining the different roles that cultural objects and heritage can assume within criminal phenomena, including as objects of crime, instruments, proceeds, or vehicles of illicit activities. Her broader research interests include heritage recovery and valorisation, the prevention of illicit trafficking in cultural objects, and the relationship between cultural heritage, law, and public policy. Alongside her research, she is involved in university teaching activities. She has been a member of AIGU since 2024 and is part of the team of the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Heritage and Emerging Crimes. Her activities also include participatory cultural projects, heritage education, and initiatives engaging local communities, students, and institutional stakeholders, with the aim of promoting greater awareness of cultural heritage and its role in contemporary society.
