Carlo Picerno

Carlo Picerno (Bari, 1999) is an architect and a PhD candidate in Architecture–Theory and
Design at Sapienza University of Rome, where he explores the role of temporary projects as
civic devices for the regeneration of public space.
He graduated with honors in Architecture from the University of Basilicata in Matera and
completed academic and professional training periods in Valencia and Paris.
He collaborates with the Gianfranco Dioguardi Foundation and Dioguardi Lab on cultural and
artistic initiatives dedicated to urban transformation processes, the creation of exhibitions,
and Cantiere-evento, a program for the cultural valorization of construction sites, of which he
is the general coordinator.
