Classe 1990, bolognese, BA in Lingue e Letterature straniere e MA in European Affairs (Università degli Studi di Bologna). Attualmente lavora come Project Manager alla European Funding Division di Warrant Hub S.p.A. e gestisce diversi progetti europei finanziati nell’ambito del Work Programme Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing e progetti LIFE (progetti H2020 quali APACHE, INNOVACONCRETE, REPAIR3D, GIOTTO, SMARTFAN). In precedenza, ha lavorato alle Nazioni Unite, New York headquarter, presso l’agenzia United Nations Human Settlements Program agency (UN-HABITAT) come Program Development Consultant e, nello specifico, sull’implementazione dell’SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities”.
Fa parte dell’Associazione Italiana Giovani per l’UNESCO dal 2016, diventando Vice-rappresentante regionale nel 2017 e Rappresentante Regionale nel 2019. Nel 2020 diventa membro del Consiglio Direttivo come rappresentante della Tesoreria Nazionale.
Il lavoro, l’associazionismo e il volontariato l’hanno portata a viaggiare frequentemente, ad esempio i Giochi Olimpici di Rio 2016 o il progetto EDUU che ha visto Stefania come speaker alla 1st International Conference On The Enhancement Of Archaeological Heritage In Iraq.
Stefania Melandri was born in 1990 in Bologna, BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures and MA in European Affairs (University of Bologna). She is currently working as Project Manager at the European Funding Division of Warrant Hub S.p.A. and manages several European projects funded under the Work Programme Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing as well as the LIFE programme (H2020 projects such as APACHE, INNOVACONCRETE, REPAIR3D, GIOTTO, SMARTFAN). As former Program Development Consultant, she worked at the United Nations Human Settlements Program agency (UN-HABITAT), New York headquarter, with a focus on the implementation of the SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” through master-planning, outreach and organization of the events for multi-disciplinary and inter-governmental stakeholders.
She has been part of the Italian Youth Association for UNESCO (AIGU) – Emilia Romagna region since 2016, becoming the regional Vice-Representative in 2017 and Regional Representative in 2019. In 2020 she joins the AIGU Executive Board as National Treasury representative.
Her work, association and volunteer experiences have led her to travel frequently, for example the Rio 2016 Olympic Games or the EDUU project that saw Stefania as panelist at the 1st International Conference on The Enhancement of Archaeological Heritage in Iraq.
